What inspired you to work in education recruitment?

I always knew I wanted a career working with people, and although my degree wasn’t related to recruitment, I liked the fast-paced side of the industry and getting to speak to different people every day. Working at an international summer camp also showed me the impact the right staff can have on young people. I enjoy helping candidates find new opportunities and supporting nurseries at the same time, which is what made education recruitment stand out to me.

What’s your favourite part about working with educators and schools?

I love that no two days are ever the same in education recruitment. I really enjoy meeting new people, hearing about their backgrounds, and having conversations with people from all different walks of life. The best part is seeing someone settle into a role they genuinely enjoy and knowing I played a part in that. I also enjoy the fast-paced environment and being part of a team that supports each other and grows together.

If you could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, what would it be?

Working in nurseries is all about bringing positive energy and being open to learning every day. The early years are such an important stage in a child’s development, so creating a supportive and encouraging environment really matters.

Short Biography

I studied Animal Biology at Nottingham Trent University and I’ve always had a big love for animals and being around people. I’m very sociable and enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as meeting new people in different environments.

Alongside university, I gained experience in sales, customer service, and working at an international summer camp, which really helped me build confidence in fast-paced, people-focused roles. I was also Coxswain Captain of my rowing club, which taught me a lot about teamwork, communication, and keeping people motivated.

I’ve now moved into recruitment because I enjoy working with people every day, building relationships, and helping others find the right opportunities for them.
