SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR – SCHOOL/RECEPTION EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Link3 Recruitment are seeking a skilled and organised Administrator to join a Secondary School in the NG2 area. This is a full-time position, starting immediately after the Easter break and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Role Details

  • Location: NG2 (Secondary School)
  • Start Date: Immediate start after Easter
  • Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Days: Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
  • Contract: Until the end of the academic year (with potential to extend)

Job Overview

We are looking for a professional and proactive School Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy secondary school office. This role requires previous experience within a school environment and confidence using school management systems.

You will be a key point of contact for staff, students, and visitors, so strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and reception support within a secondary school
  • Confidently use school systems (e.g. SIMS or similar)
  • Manage communications with staff, parents, and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records and support safeguarding procedures
  • Assist with general office duties and daily operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have previous experience working in a school office or reception (essential)
  • Have knowledge of school systems such as SIMS or equivalent (essential)
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
