Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) specialising in Design & Technology (DT) and ready to start your teaching career this September?
Link3 Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Nottinghamshire to appoint a motivated DT Teacher (ECT) for a full-time, permanent role starting September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-resourced department and begin your ECT induction in a school that values creativity, practical learning, and innovation.
The Role:
- Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
- Deliver engaging lessons across areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering
- Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and GCSE specifications
- Support students in developing practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving
- Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider DT department and school community
We’re Looking For (Keywords):
- Design & Technology Teacher / DT Teacher / ECT / NQT
- QTS (or pending QTS by Summer 2026)
- Specialism in DT, Product Design, Engineering, or similar
- Strong knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum (KS3, KS4, GCSE DT)
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical lessons
- Passion for STEM, design, and hands-on learning
