Music Teacher (QTS) / Music Instructor
Location: Leicester
Start Date: ASAP – May Half Term (with potential extension to the end of the academic year)
Link3 Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher (QTS) or Music Instructor to join a secondary school in Leicester on a temporary basis.
This role involves teaching Music across Key Stages 3 to 5 (Year 7 – Year 12), delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
The Role:
- Teaching Music across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress
- Contributing positively to the wider music department and school community
- Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience as a Music Instructor
- Previous experience teaching Music in secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for Music
- Experience teaching across multiple key stages (KS3–KS5)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to start immediately

Essential Requirements
All applicants must have:
- A valid Right to Work in the UK (verified as part of our safeguarding checks)
- An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) or registration on the Update Service
- Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) for roles below Cover Supervisor level, with evidence provided
