Job description

Link3 Recruitment is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to work within a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield.

This is a flexible opportunity with day-to-day or long-term placements available, and both part-time and full-time options can be accommodated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policy
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons independently
  • A positive, adaptable, and professional approach to teaching

Safeguarding & Compliance

  • Right to Work: All candidates must demonstrate a valid Right to Work in the UK
  • DBS: Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one prior to starting (cost covered by the applicant)
