Link3 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to work within a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield.

This is a flexible opportunity with day-to-day supply or long-term placements available, and both part-time and full-time options can be accommodated.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning
• Relevant TA qualifications are desirable but not essential

• Right to Work: All candidates must demonstrate a valid Right to Work in the UK
• DBS: Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one prior to starting (cost covered by the applicant)
