Meet the Team Monday - Jack Mason
Listed Under: Blog
Obviously saving the best until last, here's the final meet the team post. (until there's more members of the team!) Jack is one half of the social media team, working in tandem with Sharnah to craft the online branding for Link3 Recruitment via social posts, blog posts and web pages.
Q: What is your background?
A: I’ve recently finished a degree in English with Film & TV with Nottingham Trent University. I’ve always liked social media and Internet culture, so I wanted to work in the field of digital marketing.
Q: If you weren’t working for Link3 Recruitment, what would you be doing?
A: I would hope to be doing something similar to what I am doing now.
Q: What is one thing you want to accomplish before you die?
A: I’d like to pay my mum and dad back for all the help that they’ve given me growing up. I’d like to take my girlfriend travelling around the world as well.
Q: If you could see anybody live in concert, dead or alive, who would it be?
A: Kanye West
Q: Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
A: A 24-hour Tesco at 4am in the morning.
Q: How do you make a cup of tea?
A: I understand that I will probably get some flak for this from die hard tea-makers. But I actually thing that milk in the cup first is the optimal way to make a cup of tea. Boiling water straight onto a teabag is too hot and it’s been proven that it can have an adverse effect on the taste of the tea. To combat this, I’ll put a bit of milk into the cup first, then the teabag and finally the water, being careful not to pour the water straight onto the bag. This way the temperature of the water is regulated as the cool milk drops the temperature. This gives an optimal environment for the tea to brew in.
(I’m more of a coffee person, though)
Q: What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?
A: Ariana Grande
Q: What’s the best way to start the day?
A: Waking up early on a summery day when it’s sunny outside but there’s still a bit of morning chill in the air <3
Q: What weird or useless talent do you have?
A: I can juggle 3 balls, but not 5.
Q: Do you prefer a night in or a night out?
A: Night In. I enjoy a night out with my friends every now and again but it’s expensive and the hangover isn’t worth it. I must be getting old.
