Job Description



Link3 are currently recruiting for School COVID-19 Testers; required to start in January 2022 at a Secondary School located in NG8, Nottinghamshire.

Pay rate: National Minimum Wage – £10 per hour

Link3’s school clients are all required to test staff and students for COVID-19 on their school site for the foreseeable future and we require suitable candidates who will be part of a testing team carrying out regular COVID-19 testing to both staff and students. Training will be provided for all COVID Testers before the role starts.

Experience in the medical field or education is preferable but not essential.

What will be provided?

  • Full PPE provided by the school
  • On-site training will be provided by the school
  • Working as part of a team on a school site

The job role will include:

  • Registering pupils and staff for Covid-19 testing on the school site
  • Distributing tests and delivering instructions on how to administer (full training provided)
  • Administration of some tests in individual circumstances (full training provided)
  • Post-test procedures, admin, and tracking
  • Additional support duties around school as needed (school-based experience ideal)


  • This position requires an enhanced DBS certificate, Overseas Police Check (if applicable) and two professional references – If you do not have a DBS certificate, we can help you with this process (the cost of a DBS certificate is £50)
  • You must have a legal right to work in the UK

These roles could be full or part-time Monday – Friday based on the school’s requirements and the pay rate will be paid hourly at a rate of National Minimum Wage – £10 per hour based on candidate’s experience.
