​What inspired you to work in education recruitment?

After my dream of becoming a teacher didn’t work out, I knew I still wanted to stay connected to education in some way. While teaching turned out not to be the right path for me, my passion for helping others and making a difference in students’ lives remained strong. That’s what inspired me to explore education recruitment.

It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of the process that ensures students have great teachers, even if I’m not the one in front of the classroom.

What’s your favourite part about working with educators and schools?

My favourite part about working with educators is the opportunity to collaborate with passionate, dedicated individuals who genuinely care about making a positive impact on students lives. It’s inspiring to be surrounded with people who are committed to shaping the future.

If you could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, what would it be?

If I could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, it would be this:Be adaptable, and remember that your impact goes beyond the lesson plan. Education is full of surprises, and things won’t always go as expected. Embrace the challenges and changes, because they often lead to the most rewarding moments.

Hey, I’m Lauren My journey into education started as a teaching assistant with Link3 Recruitment while I was pursuing a primary education degree at university. But let’s just say, after realising that leading a classroom wasn’t my calling, I decided to switch gears. I left the course and found myself working full-time in the fast-paced world of restaurants, where I honed my multitasking skills and learned to balance trays—and life—with ease.

When I discovered that Link3 was hiring a compliance officer, I saw the perfect opportunity to dive back into the education sector, but from a different angle. Now, I get to blend my love for education with a knack for organisation and attention to detail, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me at the gym trying to work off my love of good food, exploring the outdoors on a walk, or enjoying a night out with friends. Family time is a big priority for me too—whether it’s a Sunday roast or just catching up, they keep me grounded and laughing.
