What inspired you to work in education recruitment?
I've always been passionate about helping people, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone land their dream job. The thought of making a positive difference in the lives of thousands of students every day while helping candidates achieve their career goals is what drives me. A big inspiration for me has been my desire to support students who face challenges in the classroom. My brother experienced this throughout his school years, and I felt he didn't receive the support he needed. That's why I'm committed to providing as much support as possible to those who need it.
What’s your favourite part about working with educators and schools?
It's straightforward: to make a positive impact every day. We have the chance to influence and inspire the next generation, and it's truly a privilege to be in this position.
If you could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, what would it be?
If I could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, it would be to embrace the journey with patience and passion. The impact you make on students' lives may not always be immediate, but the positive influence you have can last a lifetime. Be prepared to learn as much from your students as they learn from you, and remember that every challenge is an opportunity to grow and inspire.
Please can you provide a short bio, mentioning who you are, what your professional background, any interesting facts, add humour and personality. Can you make it 200 words, I’d recommend using chat GPT to support with this.
As a Manchester United fan, I’ve learned to take both wins and losses in stride. I used to play football religiously until my knees staged a rebellion—four surgeries later, my boots are retired, but my passion for fitness is stronger than ever. That’s why I get such a kick out of running bootcamps and helping people find their inner strength.
My journey has taken me from living with monks during my university days in America (yes, monks!) to completing an Ironman in Poland because apparently, I enjoy suffering for fun. I even lived in Australia for a bit, where I mastered the art of dodging kangaroos and soaking up the sun.
But above all, I’m on a mission at Link3 Recruitment to make a real difference in young people’s lives every day—because nothing beats the feeling of helping someone find their path.
