What inspired you to work in education recruitment?
After leaving teaching, I still wanted to stay connected with schools and continue supporting both the SEN and Secondary sectors. Working in education recruitment allows me to do exactly that, maintaining meaningful relationships with schools and helping them find the right talent to make a difference.
What’s your favorite part about working with educators and schools?
I love speaking with a wide range of people, each bringing their own unique skills and experiences. It's incredibly rewarding to follow their journey from initial interview to being successfully placed in a role they enjoy. The most fulfilling part is hearing positive feedback from schools about how well those individuals are doing.
If you could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, what would it be?
If you're working in SEN, celebrate the small wins. Progress can be gradual, but every small step matters. Recognize the positive changes in your students, no matter how minor they may seem, these moments are a testament to the impact of your support.
