What inspired you to work in education recruitment?

Working in education recruitment means I get to connect inspiring educators with the schools and students who need them. Living with a physical disability, I wouldn’t have got through school without the unwavering support of the SEN team, especially my TA, who was by my side for years. That experience showed me how life-changing the right support can be, and drives my passion to ensure every child facing extra challenges has access to understanding, supportive educators.

What’s your favourite part about working with educators and schools?

It’s the people, without a doubt. I love hearing teachers talk about their students and seeing schools so committed to creating the best learning environments. There’s something special about knowing the right match can spark a student’s love for learning.

If you could share one piece of advice with someone considering a career in education, what would it be?

Showing kindness and believing in your students—especially on the days when they don’t believe in themselves. Sometimes, that encouragement can make all the difference in a child’s life.
