This role demands excellent leadership skills, deep EYFS knowledge and the ability to create engaging learning environments that nurture children’s development.Key responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating room staff, including delegating tasks and professional development
Ensuring compliance with EYFS guidelines, health and safety policies and safeguarding procedures
Creating and implementing age-appropriate activity plans that support all areas of development
Managing parent communications and providing regular updates on children’s progress
Maintaining accurate records and documentation for children and staff
Supporting senior management in maintaining outstanding nursery standards
