Qualified Languages Teacher (QTS) - Secondary School
Location: West Midlands | Contract: Supply, Short-Term, Long-Term, MAT Cover
Salary: Competitive (based on experience & contract)

The Role:
-
Teach your specialist language(s) to students across Key Stages 3 and 4; KS5 (A-Level) experience is a strong advantage

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote language acquisition, communication, grammar, and cultural awareness

Use a range of teaching strategies and technology to support speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills

Monitor progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student success

Participate in curriculum development, department meetings, and where applicable, parent consultations
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
-
A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or relevant subject

Experience teaching languages in a UK secondary school environment
-
Strong behaviour management and classroom control
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
A commitment to inclusive education and diverse learning styles

Knowledge of national curriculum and current MFL exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, etc.)
