Experienced School Administrator
Location: Near Braunstone Astley, Leicestershire
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Part-time or Full-time (Flexible)

Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking a highly experienced and professional School Administrator to join a busy, welcoming, and supportive educational environment located near Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator with prior experience in a school or college setting who is looking for a flexible role within a well-established organisation.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the school office. Working closely with senior leadership, teaching staff, pupils, and parents, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support while maintaining a professional, organised, and friendly front-of-house presence.

This position would suit someone who is highly organised, confident using school systems and IT platforms, and comfortable managing a wide range of administrative tasks in a fast-paced educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing efficient and professional administrative support to senior leaders, teaching staff, pupils, and parents
  • Acting as a key point of contact within the school office, delivering a welcoming and helpful service to visitors and stakeholders
  • Managing student records, correspondence, and confidential information with accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Using a range of IT systems including school management software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and email platforms
  • Supporting attendance monitoring, admissions processes, and general school administration
  • Maintaining accurate databases and filing systems in line with school policies and data protection requirements
  • Assisting with scheduling, documentation, and communication to support the wider school team

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working as an administrator within a school or college environment
  • Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management systems
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable manner when communicating with staff, pupils, parents, and visitors
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately
  • Reliable, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a busy office environment
