Job Duties:

• Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
• Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
• Maintaining discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment
• Assisting students with their work and providing support as needed
• Reporting back on student behaviour and progress to the appropriate staff

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
• Experience working with children or young adults
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

Experience working with children or young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education qualifications in relevant subjects
• Teaching or tutoring experience
