About the Role:
As a Phase Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience for your key stage. You’ll lead a team of teachers and support staff, driving high standards, curriculum development, and exceptional outcomes for students. This is a leadership position that combines teaching with strategic responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a phase team (KS1 or KS2) ensuring high-quality teaching and learning

Plan, implement, and monitor the curriculum within your phase

Support, mentor, and develop teaching staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth

Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to raise achievement

Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Work closely with school leadership to contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives

Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven classroom experience with strong teaching skills

Experience in a leadership or middle-management role (preferred)

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment processes

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

A passion for student achievement and staff development
