We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This role involves taking full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering high‑quality teaching and maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Proven experience teaching in the UK, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum

• Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons in line with school policies

• Take full responsibility for the Year 3 class, including pastoral care

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity and high standards across the school

• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to reporting

• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
