KS1 Year 2 Class Teacher

Full-Time | Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teacher to take on a full-time, long‑term role teaching a Year 2 class. This position includes full class teacher responsibilities and requires someone who can provide consistency, high‑quality teaching, and strong classroom leadership throughout the duration of the contract.

About the Role

• Full-time teaching position in a Year 2 class

• Full class responsibilities including planning, assessment, and parent communication

Requirements

We are seeking a teacher who:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Has recent and proven UK teaching experience, specifically within Year 2

• Is confident delivering the Year 2 curriculum, including SATs preparation

• Can commit fully to a long-term placement

• Is flexible, reliable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and a nurturing, child‑centred approach
